You must be off any eyelash growth serums (Latisse, Lash Boost, etc.) for a minimum of 4 weeks before having your eyeliner tattooed. These serums make the eyelid very sensitive and prone to bruising. If the skin bruises too much the pigment will not enter the skin due to swelling. You cannot be wearing eyelash extensions (lash extensions must be removed at least 3 days prior) or contact lenses during your appointment. Minor swelling is normal and will subside within a few days. No eye makeup can be worn until flaking is complete (approximately 7 days) to prevent infection.
